Comaneci also serves on a number of charitable boards, including her position on the Special Olympics International Muscular Dystrophy Association Board of Directors as well as the Laureus Sports For Good Foundation. In addition, she continues to help a variety of charitable organizations in her native country of Romania which includes those at the Nadia Comaneci Children's Hospital in Bucharest.
